Ex-Rayonier Mallet (the only one still operating), presently the main motive power at Hill City, South Dakota. They say there is hardly any trace of Rayonier operations left in Washington, though most of their last engines survived. For a railroad once considered a gaudy tourist trap, the Black Hills Central has done very well with this one.

Having met BHC's present owners, I can say they've taken what was very much a threadbare, "mom & pop" operation, and turned it into a well-run enterprise. The addition of the RR museum project is another feather in their cap.
