Last steam locomotive of the NC&StL, on display in Nashville. There is a move afoot to overhaul this one, and they have a discussion group on Yahoo Groups. Operation was planned for the former Tennessee Central line last I knew.

The most recent news I've heard was that the group that originally wanted to place the locomotive in the Tennessee Central Railroad Museum worked out an agreement with the City of Nashville parks department so that a cover will be built to protect the locomotive. After that I assume that it will undergo some sort of cosmetic restoration.
