Second, yesterday construction workers finally lifted off the top of the roundhouse roof's cupola and lowered it to the ground. Further disassembly of the upper roof (over the turntable) will probably proceed over the rest of the winter. Scaffolding is in place inside the dome to (apparently) support the interior and protect the inside during reconstruction.
