Can someone tell me how long it takes Steamtown to get from Scranton to Tobyhanna when it runs steam excursions there? How long did it take to go from Scranton to the Delaware Water Gap? I am just interested in the time one way, not the whole excursion. I want to compare the times against DL&W and EL passenger train times.

Hello Tom

Tobyhanna run takes just about an hour, point to point, with no stops along the way.

The Delaware Water Gap is a more difficult question, since they stop several places along the way for water/servicing, usually at Tobyhanna and Stroudsburg. Shot in the dark here, but if there were no stops, you'd be looking at about 2 and a half hours perhaps to the Gap.
