The Car Maintenance department of the Rockhill Trolley Museum is looking to acquire several types of springs for various applications in its collection of trolley cars. We have quotes on various springs and the information is below. Prices are higher than expected, so we would like to combine orders if possible to get the best possible price for everyone.. Please contact Paul Ganter pg251@railswap.org our Maintenance Dept. Head if you have an interest in any of these items and would like to boost quantities for better pricing. We will work with you to arrange affordable shipping, pickup, etc. Paul can also supply pictures to you if you require them. 1) Brill 77E1 truck coil springs, inner and outer graduating spring pair, between truck bolster and leaf springs. starting price ~$100 each pair (2 pairs per truck) 2) Nuttall pole base springs, Westinghouse # 600426, as used on US-13, -14, -20 bases. starting price ~$11.00 each (!) 3) Ohio Brass “form 1” pole base springs, used on (relatively rare) base which has springs and pole both on same side of pivot. starting price ~ $25 each These have been quoted by two companies used by NCTM and PTM in the past.
