Dear Boyd: The locomotive is an 0-4-0F Fireless, built fairly late (piston valve cylinders), possibly by H.K.Porter or Davenport-Bessler. A former Alabama Power Co. locomotive? J. David jdconrad@snet.net |

It sounded like the original poster saw it in the Mississippi area; so it could be one of the former Alabama Power engines; or the one from Barry Steam Plant.
