In the 1960's the Reading had a derailment on the Newtown Branch near Bryn Athyn. The third unit of the Saturday Newtown Local turned a rail and derailed. In repairing the track, crews dug up a seat frame from a fatal head-on collision at the same site in 1921. Electric City Trolley Museum Association |
