<P>This is my first time here. Picked up the address from my NRHS chapter newsletter. I wanted, first of all, to greet old friends and meet new ones. Second, I wanted to put in a plug for the railroad history and preservation seminars, internships, and other joint projects sponsored by jointly by Historical Studies at University of Baltimore and the B&O Railroad Museum. Erik Ledbetter, a friend of mine from the old days and a regular contributor to this site, helped get this program started before he found a "real job." My job has been unreal for twenty one years, the time I've spent teaching history at UB. Like to hear from anyone about anything. I've been very, very lucky, indeed. I'm a railfan who contributes to the movement by teaching railroad history and preservation, with the support of friends and colleagues at the B&O Museum. Finally, I, too, miss Elinor P.
