My wife (who is from New Hampshire--guess who we were rooting for, and who won) and I watched the Highly Hyped Bowl this afternoon; not only were there no Blimp shots, there were very few outside-the-stadium views. Being a major juicefan, I was hoping for a look at the new Houston Metro Light Rail line, but no luck on that front. For our friends down South--Carolina didn't quit, maybe next year for the Cats!

The new light rail system has been the focus of headlines in the Houston area, since motorists haven't yet figured it out. They think the track is a new left-turn lane. In it's very short operating history, there have been almost a dozen collisions between the new trains and motor vehicles, some of which were just fender-benders, and some very serious.

The silly, tinny, screechy electronic "horn" on the trains is almost useless, especially in a place where every other car is a stereo system on wheels.
