Saturday, April 24,2004: Durbin WV. 9AM to 4PM. Early mornig steam-up shots. Ex-Moore-Keppel/Middle Fork RR 55 ton two truck, Class B Climax #3 will be posed in a number of photo-friendly scenes to enable photographers to capture the feel of a 1940s small town logging RR. #3 will than proceed to make up the days "freight" train consist and ready itself for the 10AM departure. Photo runbys will be staged at prearranged locations along the line during the trip. The train will be made to appear as a vintage freight for each runby. Hot lunch will be provide at the Piney Island Picnic area with another runby prior to departure for the south terminus. 5PM to 9PM. Dinner at the depot and a slide show afterward. Night photo session to be conducted by Joe Gonzalos and myself afterward. You need a tripod, camera with "B" stting and a cable release. NO FLASH! We will provide the flash for you. Tickets:$45.00, includes both meals, photo ops slide show and night photos. Sunday, April 25, 2003: Belington, WV, 8AM to 9AM. Early morning first generation diesel activity in and around the shops. FP7A #67, FP7B #415, FA2 #303, and BL2 #82 will be posed in various photo-friendly scenes for photographing. All units are painted in Black & Gold Western Maryland Rwy speed-lettering style A-B-A lashup shots. Ex-WM BL2 and FA2 together, and more photo-ops as the trains are made up for the days activitys. Depart Belington at 9AM. Opportunity to chase or ride the 16 mile trip from Belington to Elkins. Train will run at "chase friendly" speed to Elkins. Sunday, April 25, 2004: Elkins WV. 11AM to 4PM. Depart for a 46 mile round trip on the comfortable NEW TYGART FLYER streamliner that will feature multible photo runbys at Tunnel #1 under Cheat Mountain, spectacular runby at the High Bridge area and never before used runby location high above the Shavers Fork of the Cheat. Ticket price includes a cold sandwitch buffet and special commemorative souvenir. Coaches feature reclining chairs or table seating. Lunch/souvenir counter on board. Extra fare service in our open platform Parlor Car, the "West Virginia", a 1922 classic heavyweight Pullman. Trian returns to Belington at 5PM. Tickets: Coach $45.00, includes buffet and souvenir.
