Some time back I saw this reference for the Vermont Railroad Museum at White River Junction: http://cvrr.railfan.net/glorydays/pages/campus4.html But now I also find this reference for the New England Transportation Museum at White River Junction: http://www.newenglandtransportationmuseum.org/ So... Whats up? It looks like this "Glory Days" festival they have may be working well. http://www.glorydaysoftherailroad.org/index.htm Glory Days of the Railroad

Any progress on the shelter which was to be built for the 494? She's looking pretty spiffy these days. And wasn't there an effort underway to save the derelict B&M roundhouse? ![]() SJHussar@aol.com |

A determined effort is ongoing through the Hartford, VT department of Parks and Rec. for a shelter. The interests of many parties are all in play however. davidwoodbury@adelphia.net |

David, the picture in this thread reminds me of our visit a few years back when my son and I helped you remove the headlight from the engine. The work you have done since is remarkable! It looks great! wyld@sbcglobal.net |
