Slightly older than the 3203 in Portland, the 3206 is a standard Harriman model which had many cousins on the SP. Shown here on display in Spokane in 2001. I noticed on that the tender has the famed UP shield on it. Did they ever apply the shield to the engines while in service or was this something that was done in post retirement? |
