I'm doing an article on the "boomer tales" as printed in Railroad Magazine from the mid-30s onward. Editor Freeman Hubbard had close ties with the best-known writers of these tales. Anybody know what happened to Hubbard's papers or the files of RR Magazine after Carstens took over in 1979? Sure would like to see those documents if they exist. Thanks.
