Hi friends,

The big train show in Springfield, MA is this weekend. While it is primarily a modeler's meet, it does draw displays from almost all the New England tourist railroads and major preservation outfits.

Who among us is going? I will be there Saturday, alternating between serious preservation conversations and credit card melting exercises.

I should be. I'll be with the Leatherstocking Chapter of the NRHS.

I'm going, but I'm not sure at this point whether it will be on Saturday or Sunday. I had originally planned for Saturday, but they're predicting freezing rain Friday night and Saturday morning, so the plans might change.

Hello

I'm not unfortunately, but I know Steamtown NHS is sending representatives and a display. I'm sure the B&M 3713 will be discussed. Take a look at Kenny Ganz's photography work there, its second to none.

Hi Rob:

Stop by RMNE's exhibit, and I will be glad to help you combine the two-- conversations about railroad preservation, and zorching the plastic!!!

See you there, wear comfy shoes!

My understanding is that most (if not all) of the two foot preservation groups will be represented.

Best Regards,

Maine Narrow Gauge, WW&F, and Sandy River typically have adjacent tables. I think Friends of Bedford Depot Park is in another building, however.

FEBT has been on the waiting list for the last two years...we still haven't gotten in yet.

Looks like I'm still on for Saturday. Anyone for an impromptu RyPN gathering at the show?

Can someone explain to us railroaders what this term means?
