It may be of interest to some here that a planning-intensive project is going on immediately adjacent to the California State Railroad Museum and its future Museum of Railroad Technology. While any of the proposals could be good for the museum, certain alternatives may present better opportunites than others. I invite you to look at these and consider commenting if you feel so motivated.

Probably the most significant historical component of these plans is the role the existing station building plays in the new facility. I find it amazing that the planners recommend moving this massive structure on city block over the more simpler alternatives that place the structure at the center of the terminal.
