At the Springfield (Mass) Model Train Show, I came across a photo of a passenger car, stenciled for the Great North East Railroad Foundation. Has anyone heard of this group before? The location of the photo, IIRC, was `up state New York', it was also a bad color photo, faded, showing a medium olive green for the car body. That's correct, the Great North Eastern Railroad Foundation does own NdeM 3028 at New Hope. I haven't been able to find any more info on the group. Still searching... Boyd New Hope & Ivyland Railroad Steam Locomotive Info bowens@rypn.org |

And.... we're back. April, 2010. Is this group still around? Is there any information about the group and if not, who claims ownership of the NdeM 3028 at New Hope? /Mitch |
