In November of 2003, Shay #3, a 25 ton two truck 36" gauge built in 1909 # 2194, was sold to the West Side Narrow Gauge Restoration group in Tuolomne, Ca. They are working to restore part of the old West Side Lumber Co. line. The Shay was on display at a casino in Boulder City, Nevada, and was trucked to California. Plans are to renumber it to 16, but unknown about restoration.
