In the Bay area, late 1950s. SP's ceremonial 4-6-0, now operable (last I knew) in Fort Worth.

Still operable, but tired out. It just hasn't the tractive effort to pull a substantial train of heavyweight coaches. Hence the acquisition of SP [nee-T&NO] #771, and the (remotely) possible return of another steamer to north Texas...
