I was wondering what is going on here in 2004, will there be steam run. And what diesels do they have running. Do thay still have the FPA4, RS3, and RSD5?

As far as I know (meaning they can't hide them THAT well), all three Alcos have left the property--last on the Liberty Limited dinner trains out of York, Pa., now elsewhere. The WMSR still uses one or two GP30s as diesel power; you might remember one painted with an Orioles lofo and one with a Redskins logo.

I think at least two of the Alcos ended up in Ohio, on the Cuyahoga Valley RR. That was after the Liberty Limited dinner train.

As far as I know, the 734 should be running next year. The Alcos are long gone adn there are 2 operational GP30's on the property. One is done in a WM "speed lettering" scheme, and the other is dolled up "Ravens" with a lovely (ugh) purple stripe.

The FPA4 that was painted as Western Maryland 305 is our #6771,The FPA4 that was painted as B & O 800 is also here, we have left her painted as a B & O engine because that is the former owner of our trackage. The RSD-5 is stored on the CVSR for it's owner, but it does see service once or twice a year. The RSD-5 now is painted in its as delivered CNW paint scheme.
