I am wondering if anybody has any expierence with Cinese superheaters? I seem to remember that Mid Continent's C&NW 1385 recieved some several years ago. If you have expierence with them, what is your opinion of them?

The key to superheaters are the ends and the turns, everything else is no problem. In theory you could just buy those and weld your own tubing to make the units. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Tom and all,

Yes, you are right, I was just curious as to the quality of the ends now available from China.
