Behind the 4551 is the old crew bunkroom. In steam and early diesel days, this housed the storeroom for the enginehouse. Our hostlers' "office" door (called the dugout) was located directly behind the "L" on the diesel. When I was fired, they were hot to tear this building down, despite my attempts to retain it.
