Cumbres Toltec Shops Up-Date

Carlos has another up-date ready. First Week February 2004

Carlos told me the next Up-Date should be ready on Saturday. He expects to have around 20 photos including Chama photos. He said things are starting to move quickly so it is taking more photos to show all the work.

At the rate Carlos is doing the up-dates he will be caught up pretty quick as far as 2004 is concerned. I know he is putting in a lot of effort and because of his effort we all are learning more about STEAM engines.

Usually, people involved in rail preservation are one of two types: those who take photographs but don't get dirty, and those who do the dirty work but are too busy to take good photos. Because of that, a lot of important work does not get documented. Carlos Lamos has combined both talents and given all who want to see an excellent look at what is required to keep steam locomotives running. It is obviously not an easy task, nor one that should be attempted by novices without a lot of skilled guidance.
