We hav set up a Yahoo Group site for the Society. It is specifically
for discussion of Society business and projects.
One of the main Projects of the group is to try and save the N&W steam and the CW baldwins.
It is also a place for members of the society to get to know each other better. General Discussions will still be posted to the Lost engines group site.

Hi All

Gary Grey has set up a meeting for us with the one of the Scrapyard executers in the next two weeks. This is a preliminary meeting but we hope to know what the expectations of the people at the scrapyard are and we hope to let them know what some of our plans. Lets hope we can find some common ground that will be benificial for everybody concerned. I will post an update after the meeting is over.

TWVRPS annual meeting is in the planning stages. Possible dates are as follows March 27, April 10 or April 17. we may have the meeting at the O. Winston Link Museum or at the Transportation museum. both are in Roanoke.
