At Clifton Forge, 5/48, before becoming their ceremonial locomotive. Now at B&O Museum. http://abpr2.railfan.net/abprphoto.cgi?july03/07-24-03/c+o377.jpg ryarger@rypn.org |

She's a victim of peeling paint, rust, rot, and outside storage. I believe she's high-priority to go into one restoration shop or the other (existing or to-be-built), but have no way to confirm that, and besides, the B&O Museum has their hands full at the moment. I'd post a current photo, but then I'd be accused of trying to stir up a hornet's nest again. I've sent current photos to others, and gotten responses that approximately equate the ruckus stirred up by the neglect that happened to DL&W 952 ("Let's volunteer to go in and paint it!" "Let's find her a better home!" etc.). Trust me, C&O 377 is in good hands--just don't look at her for the time being. LNER4472-NOSPAM-@bcpl.net |

Wasn't she running for a time in 70s or even 80s? I seem to recall seeing a picture in a TRAINS or a R&R. Perhaps I saw another engine? Joshua |

The engine and the C&O coach, now at Strasburg for restoration, were used for a time on the Toledo, Lake Erie & Western in suburban Toledo. Wesley |

She was moved into the carshop in the early 90s to get her under cover and last I heard was still there, immured deep in the almost-never-switched Track 19. She went into the carshop about the same time as the PA and for the same reason--too precious to be sitting outside. eledbetter@rypn.org |

Sorry, mate, as of a couple days ago she's still outside, on a track clearly visible from Arlington Street between the normal yard switch leads and the exterior outer shed to the west of the roundhouse. Been there, by my guess, for at least two years, maybe a lot longer. LNER4472-NOSPAM-@bcpl.net |

377 was in the roundhouse in the late 1990's. She was moved outside about four years ago. kevin.r.gillespie@verizon.net |
