A little good news for the Knight Foundry, the most intact 19th Century ironworks in the U.S.. Before shutdown in the 1980s, they even made some reproduction parts for V&T locomotives being restored. Knight Foundry is in Sutter Creek, Cal., not far from Jamestown. http://www.ledger-dispatch.com/life/lifeview.asp?c=98605 ryarger@rypn.org |
