When the sales force for Baldwin/Westinghouse's new locomotive, the DS 4-4-750 went west to test, what was the support?

Did each locomotive have a support car and staff? How were they delivered to the testing railroad?

By the time the No. 750 tested on the Fruit Grower's railroad, the prime-mover had been tuned to 800 hp.
