Post subject:  BL-2 on the move?

One of our members has claimed that he saw a BL-2 moving on an eastbound freight through northern Indiana recently. The only locomotive that I think this could possibly be is the BL-2 that was privately owned and formerly at Janesville, Wisconsin. Anyone out there that could confirm (or kill) this rumor?

Thanks!

Those two Bl-2's were stored at the NRM at Green Bay, Wisconsin all last summer. One was still in BAR paint, the other in the Wisconsin Southern scheme. I was told that NRM was just storing until the family decided what to do with them. The 3 F-Units from the Monhardt collection were there as well (circa August of last year).

The two BL-2's that were stored in Green Bay, Wisconsin belong to Clint Jones now, and my understanding is that they were available for lease (as with his other assorted historic diesels). I know there were efforts to try to return one of them back east, so that may be the one that was spotted in Indiana.

I was at the Green Bay Museum today, March 13th, and both BL-2's are still there.
