BBC apparently did a good piece recently on the Wolsztyn steam depot in Poland. Did this make it onto any of the BBC news shows on PBS here in the US?

An interesting controversy seems to be underway about a proposal to bring a British steam loco to Wolsztyn. Most of the paying visitors to Wolsztyn are Brits (the loco driving course is not cheap), and apparently the thinking is that a British loco to drive would be a money maker. The pros seem to be that the extra money would help preserve more Polish locos. The cons feel it will destroy the authenticity of a Polish steam loco depot.

This article is by necessity very short, but it provokes a lot of interesting thought:
1) Imagine riding Amtrak at 69 mph anywhere in the U.S. and hearing an announcement, "Good morning and welcome aboard. Today your train is being operated by John Doe. John's son, Johnny, is assisting in the cab. They are a part of our "You Can Be An Engineer In A Week" program. Today is also John's 60th birthday. Let's all sing "Happy Birthday" to John. All together now. . .
2) Are there no plaintiff lawyers in Poland?
3) Is there no engineers' union in Poland?
