Preserved MBTA GP-9(?) #1921, in B&M maroon & gold, apparently in service pulling MBTA commuter trains in Boston. The linked photo shows the unit at Boston's South Station. These daily commuter trains are usually powered by GP40's(?) or some such modern engines. Anyone know this engine's heritage? I don't believe it is a former B&M loco. And can they be that short on power? ;-) http://photos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo=200403102247401652.jpg&bydate%3A9 SJHussar@aol.com |

Does anyone know how jealous Guilford is of these things? davidwoodbury@adelphia.net |
