Post subject:  ex-Santa Fe 769

Last used by the Albuquerque & Cerrillos Coal Co. at Madrid, NM, with another 2-8-0, the 870. The latter, derelict for years, was taken to Santa Fe Springs, California a few years ago and nicely restored for display. The 769 was in pretty good condition inside its enginehouse for years, but was later pulled out into the weather. Last I knew, the enginehouse had been converted into a melodrama playhouse, with the 769's front end built into the end wall...
