Where the Maine Central's old pusher roundhouse still sits derelict? Turntable was removed in the 1920s, when giant 2-6-6-2s were used through Crawford Notch. I think building still belongs to the state.

In regards to the 2662s they were made new for the B&M for use in the hoozak tunnel. The B&M sold them to the MEC after about 5 years. The MEC used them as pushers up the notch. btw The B&M also sold the MEC some 2 10 2s I think in the early 1940s. regards bb

Bob,the building still sits unused. It sure would make a nice place for a museum or bigger shop for the Conway Scenic.
