I was informed in the mid-1980's that Andrew Muller acquired the ones he used on PRR 5706/5898 directly from EMD stock at that time! I later told another E8 operator about this around 1993, and he checked with EMD either in Halethorpe, Md. or La Grange and supposedly found them still available. Halethorpe parts depot is no more, and who knows about La Grange, but I'd start with none other than EMD and see what happens.

Thanks very much.
EMD (La Grange) has been very helpful. We have also had responses from some other sources. If we cannot find any laying around EMD will get a proposal to respin a quantity. They are getting us the plans for the "Bezel". Does anyone one else have a need so we can judge a quantity for an order. Any interest would not be binding until there is a committment on a cost.
