Looking at photo in the post below...

The locomotive appears to be a Whitcomb, 'round about a 20-tonner. You can tell a Whitcomb by the diamond nameplate above the radiator grille and by the "swiss cheese" radiator grille itself. No idea on this particular loco's past history.

The locomotive on display at Beaver Brook is Stewartstown #9, but from the Stewartstown, NH Lumber Co. not the PA shortline. It was a leftover from Edaville according to a sign attached.
I'm pretty sure that the PA engine wound up in Diamond Jim Robinson's (mover of the Flying Yankee) yard in the early 90s. It was painted a dingy blue at the time. Diamond Jim had a yard full of interesting stuff including a derelict wooden coach from the Bangor and Aroostook (Jackson and Sharp). He lived in Dublin, NH and passed away a few years ago. I'm sure whatever he had is now dispersed/scrapped.
