<P>Last I knew, this loco made it as far as Concord,NH on a sale from its location at the Hobo RR but ran into problems moving on its own wheels via Guiford Trans. Is it still there and if so, where exactly is it? Would like some help from fellow readers.<br><br> cpresc1003@aol.com |

<P>The locomotive is currently in storage in NH pending a move to the new Edaville Railroad, where it will be placed on static display. <P>Glenn,<br>Thanks for the info. I did find additional postings on #250 a while back.<br>The loco is in good hands with Mr. Flagg. <P>I was at the Danbury railway Museum the other day and saw the B&M loco, she seems to have made the trip to Danbury OK. Her main rods are part of a fundraising display in the museum/station building.<p>The volunteer staff told me that the corporate office of the long gone Boston&Maine RR wants to charge the museum a fee to paint the railroad name on the side of the tender. Anyone ever heard of this charge from a Fallen Flag line? <p>When I was at the new EDAVILLE RR, they have a number of Steam and Diesel engines on display with more to come. Does anyone know the history of a standard gauge Diesel Stewartstown RR #9? <br><br> ted miles@NPS.gov |

<P>I have heard of companies pulling that kind of crap with model manufacturers, but I don't think I have ever heard of it in the preservation scene. Wouldn't put it past Guilford though. I wonder if that was an issue with B&M 410, the 0-6-0 in Lowell, MA. For that matter, I wonder if they're going to try it with Steamtown when they restore 3713. I could just see her running with "Lackawanna" on her tender instead!<br> rjenkins@railfan.net |
