are the volunteer presidents and superintendents who work during all hours of the week making sure that the "business" end of the museum gets done. This effort, for way too long, has gone unnoticed and unappreciated, in general.
The next time you are at your museum - stop at those people, your leaders, and tell them you appreciate the work they do - all week long at meetings, over a desk/computer, paying bills, running the membership list, arranging the ballast, rail, paint ....
Beleive me - the most important asset you museum has is it's volunteer leaders - a good , carring, people manager is so hard to find!
