As of today, one of the late Hal Wilmunder's engines has a new temporary home. His son Les in-
herited the Sacto Brick, Antelope & Western, Camino, Cable & Northern # 1, 0-4-0T, Porter #
1098, 1889. He has put it on loan to the Nevada
County Narrow Gauge Museum in Nevada City for 5
years. It made the trip up from Rancho Cordova
today. The saddle tank needs new paint, and it's
very dusty from sitting around in Hal's warehouse
otherwise it's still the same as it was when last
run.

And what has become of the rest of the collection that Hal owned? I remember a Heisler and a unique railbus that ran on the Diamond and Caldor.
