There will be a tour of the remnants of the KCKV by the Topeka and Kansas City chapters of the NRHS on Sat. April 3rd. It will run from 8:00 am in KsCy Ks to around 1:30pm in Lawrence and will then have lunch at the Free State Brewery, which is the train shed of the KCKV Lawrence depot. Kansas City-Kaw Valley was an eastern Kansas electric railroad that lasted into 1961. I believe the locomotives were all saved, but can't remember where they went.
