Interesting item on eBay. Description: Trails To Rails - Illinois History (Illinois) TRAILS TO RAILS / A Story Of Transporation Progress In Illinois. By Carlton J. Corliss. "Compliments of the Illinois Central System." Published 1937, Chicago, the IC RR. 4to size stapled booklet, 48-pages of text in printed tan wrappers; fine clean condition throughout, back cover a railway map of State of Illinois. Looks like most of the Colorado & Wyoming was removed last summer, leaving behind a turntable at Segunda, Colorado. Anyone know its size and type? Have photos? C&W was long the property of Colorado Fuel & Iron Co., the main industry in Pueblo. The RR has had other operators in recent years, and apparently none proved successful.
