FYI Great Smoky Mountains Railroad #1702 made a round trip from Dillsboro to Bryson City today without issue. A short scheduled stop was made in Whittier to check bearing temperatures. It was a beautiful day in the mountains for a train ride, and several people turned out for just such an occasion! Ryan lima709@usadaily.net |
