Trains Unlimited Tours is running a special re-creation of Western Pacific's California Zephyr passenger train as part of the WP Historical Society convention in Reno this coming weekend. However, since the surviving WP F-units are in museums and not available for mainline duty, the group has arranged to use this unit, which is an ex-VIA unit. There may be a few original CZ passenger cars used on the trip, but most of the cars may come from other roads. Final note, the re-creation of the CZ will not run on ex-WP rails, as it will travel over Donner Pass.
