V & T Reconstruction

Does anyone know when they might start relaying track on the old Virginia & Truckee right-of-way, and if so, how one might be able to work on that project? Also, anyone in the NW know when the Battle Ground, Yacolt & Chelatchie group will have their engine running?

I recall a recent article in the Reno newspaper, to the effect that the Granite Construction Company, main contractor on a project to relocate the UP main line through downtown Reno, had donated two miles worth of the old track material to the V&T.
