 Post subject: Special Excursions on ex-RDG Bethlehem Branch

On Saturday, May 15 the boroughs of Quakertown and Perkasie plan to run several special passenger excursions on the former RDG Bethlehem branch, using East Penn diesel power and some leased ex-LIRR commuter cars from the New Hope & Ivyland. For more details or to obtain tickets, see the link below. This will be the first public excursions on this stretch of the branch since 1987 when BM&R 4-6-2 No. 425 paid a visit to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the borough of Souderton.
