A couple years ago our museum acquired some fiberglass wrapping material for insulating steam pipes. We used to have a hardner compound which hardened the fiberglass insulation making it paintable.

We are looking for a new source for both the wrap and the hardener for another locomotive we are currently working on. Thanks.

Check your yellow pages for Insulation Contractors. The materials you are seeking are used every day to insulate steam and hot water piping.
