The Michigan State Trust for Railway Preservation has made great progress in the past 8 months toward their goal, the construction of a new home entitled The Steam Railroading Institute. Their web site has weekly updates of pictures and information about the grand opening coming up in June. There will still be much work and building to do afterward but starting with the openhouse there will be much to see and do.
