Greetings, There's a web site out there that has a comprehensive listing of nonprofit organizations and their status. For the life of me, I can't recall it and for some odd reason I didn't save the address. It has been mentioned on here before, so I'm hopeful one of you will know what I'm referring to. Thanks in advance, Gerald W. Kopiasz Heartland Railroad Historical Society hrrhs@aol.com |

Do you mean GuideStar, the national database of nonprofit organizations? This is a recommended site to check the integrity of nonprofits and how they use money and donations. GuideStar |

The IRS has a publication called something like "cumululative list of exempt organizations" -its available online and some states have the status of corporations and fictitious business names registered with them online as well. superheater@rrmail.com |

GuideStar.org is exactly what I was looking for. I knew it had "Star" in the name, but couldn't for the life of me recall the rest. Thanks, Gerald W.
