Ancient postcard on e-Bay of the San Francisco Zoo train (22-inch Cagney) at its original location, the boardwalk at Santa Cruz. Thanks to the GGRM folks, this train is running again (on clean CNG). I even got to take it several times around the circle a few years ago, fulfilling a childhood dream. The engine was said to have originally run at the St. Louis worlds fair of 1903.

I rode the train last Sunday and have many times before. I am a coal fan and it's natural gas fuel sure smells strange!

The ride includes a bridge over the pond, a tunnel which is the engine house in the off hours and several mineature crossing gates to go through.
