Any word on if the line is or will be torn up and the real estate sold auction with the auction over? |

If it does go to scrap, I hope that some of the 2ft groups show interest in some of the rail. Rail that size is few and far between. |

Rail bigger than 40# is still fairly easy to obtain. However, rail less than 40# is very difficult to obtain. My father and I have been building a two-foot gage railroad for 15 years and the hardest thing that we have had obtaining is rail. We use 16#, 20#, 25#, & 30# on our mainline and we do have some 12# on sidings. Goose Creek RR (2-ft. gage) gcrrmch@aol.com |
