Post subject:  Oswestry locos

Some diesel locomotives on display at Oswestry in the UK. Note the Alco in the background. Is this part of the Oswestry Railway Centre?

And this steam shop crane also. These were somewhat common in the UK. Santa Fe once had one in California also.

The Brits refer to these things as crane locomotives, to differentiate them from locomotive cranes. They are interesting machines.
