The famous East Broad Top Railroad in rural Central Pennsylvania will reopen for the tourist season on the weekend of June 5 to 6.

Join the Friends of the East Broad Top for their annual Summer Celebration. Yard track three is to be officially reopened. Caboose 28, with its new repairs will return to service. Yard and shop tours are also to be conducted.

Locomotive #14, a 2-8-2 mikado built by Baldwin in 1912, will pull the first trains of the 2004 season with some fresh paint. It is hoped that #15 will join #14 later in the season.

Open car and coach tickets are $10.
Business car and caboose tickets are $11.

Trains will leave Orbisonia station in Rockhill at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.

Call 814-447-3011 for advance tickets. The EBT can also be reached at ebtrr@innernet.net.

The EBT will operate each weekend through the weekend of October 30 & 31.

Come out and ride America's oldest narrow gauge railroad!

FYI the EBT is the "Cover Girl" on this months "Pennsylvania" magazine, for regional tourism and travel; a very nice photo story on the railroad and a cover shot of a Mike at Orbisonia station.
