Post subject:  L&NE at Pen Argyl - the end has come

I was in Pen Argyl today and it appears that the roundhouse has come down. The other buildings are still standing - for now.

reading this posting and the roundhouse is

still standing any ?'s or comments please

I drove by the site this morning and the roundhouse is still there. The roof is even visible from the road, as can be seen in a picture taken today.

Sorry about that. I looked again today and realized that it is still there. They have started clearing out trees and it looks like they are starting to build the entrance highway.
